The default setting lets everyone register an account for the Media Channel. After filling in the usual fields like first name, last name and email address the user has to upload their Media Card (AIPS card) and profile picture. We do a face recognition so that the right images with a clear face are uploaded.
Only registered users are able to apply for accreditation. Most events need additional accreditation like passport information. The accreditation process has also a verification step.
Via the Calendar users can apply for tickets, if they are Press (category based on accreditation type) they can’t choose a seat.
Media Tickets for Press
Every match has a maximum number of photographers that can take a seat around the field. The media organisation can enable the media tickets. Users with the category photography can apply for a ticket. There are 4 categories:
The different categories will result in priority of choosing a seat. For example; top media users will be able to choose a seat 12 hours before a match, users of the host country will be able to choose a seat 8 hours before a match. All the different time settings can be adjusted per match.
Media Tickets for Photographers
Specific assigned users will be able to report to the media organisation about everything around an event. The reports can easy be filled-in and summaries are available for the Media Officers.
